Jack the Giant Slayer
I finally watched Jack the Giant Slayer while I was off work on my Staycation this past week. It was good, definitely a different spin on Jack and the Beanstalk. The movie is rated PG-13 it may frighten the younger children, then again maybe not. I am glad I decided to add it to my personal collection. It is definitely not the Children's version of the story we read about as children. These updated versions of the Children's Stories we have read as children is definitely not for children's viewing, but at the same time kids today do surprise us. I have Red Riding Hood'; Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters; Snow White and the Huntsman; Mirror, Mirror, Oz the Great and Powerful; Thor; Jack the Giant Slayer; Beastly. They are so not your children's tales, but they are all good and I do recommend anyone to watch them and judge for themselves--these kinds of movies are right up my alley and like them and glad to have them in my own personal collection.
