It has been awhile
It has been a year since my last entry to this blog--I have thought about it and thought about and I still am not sure where I want to go with the blog or if I am going to keep it going--I will take it one day at a time that is all I can do for now.
Summer 2015 has came and went--it was a summer that will be remember as cool and wet--we had more rain this past summer than I have seen in a very long time and we did not have hardly any 90 degree+ days, a few, but not like we have had in the past.
We moved again--this time it was a short move, we are still in Toledo, we just moved across the driveway from the other house we were in--this house we are in now is a better house, it looks small on the outside, but there is more room in here than it looks from the outside--it is a nice place, I am happy with it.
This year marked my 10th Anniversary at the Wauseon Public Library and this year I asked if I could step in and become the Teen/YA Librarian for the library--we have not had anyone do much with it for about 4 years now it was time. Our Director said it was fine and I have been working in the position since May. I am in the process of starting up a Teen Advisory Group consisting of about 15 to 20 Teens--they will help me plan programs they would like to see the library host as well as give me some ideas on materials for the library to purchase. I have some Teens interested and will be hosting an open forum on October 22, 2015 in our meeting room from 5-7 pm--pizza and pop will be provided by the library.
I decided to give Windows 10 a try--so far, I like it and we will be going to Windows 10 at the library sometime in the near future--it is similar to Windows 7 so it was not hard to learn to maneuver around in it, at the same time it is different from other versions of windows I have used--I am satisfied with switching to Windows 10, I am glad I did.
My grandmother is still doing quite well, she was moved to long-term care awhile back and is satisfied with staying at Fulton Manor--she is still involved in a number of activities there to keep herself occupied and she is still reading--I take books to her from the library--I try and keep her at around 20 books at a time and she gets through them all within the time frame she is given by the system we use at the library (she gets books for 8 weeks because she is a home bound patron)

Good too hear!
