2012 . . . So Far
So Far, 2012 has been a pretty good year, for me at least . . . got a different car so my mom and dad would have a better car to drive--they have my other car and I am driving the newer car. Went back to full-time status at work, but it is going to take awhile to catch back up after being part-time for better than two years--at least I had a job, I just made cuts in my expenses where I could, there are certain expenses that could not be cut--car payments, insurance, and gas--those that have jobs, thank goodness, let's hope more people get back to work. The economy is slowly and I mean slowly picking back up, but we have a long way to go. Things are slowly getting back on track for me and my family--let's hope it continues.
We just took our one black cat to the vet--he has a clean bill of health after about a year and a half of touch and go with him--we almost lost him twice, but thank goodness to our vet and a good group of vets at the University of Michigan's Veterinarian hospital in Lansing thank you to all of them and our vet in Adrian, MI for helping us get him back on track on he is back to his old self. The other four we have along with him are doing well and are healthy--we are so blessed to have them in our lives never a dull moment with five cats that is for sure.
Looking forward to my trip to NYC in June to the Book Expo of America. First time in NYC for both my cousin, Heather and I. Hopefully before the trip to NYC, I have my Amazon Kindle Fire bought--I have seen two of them up close and I really like the Kindle Fire and will be getting one for myself. Keep my fingers crossed I get it before I go to NYC in June--have to wait and see.
